Education and learning opportunities

Our education and learning ethos:

We call it education and learning, not training, for a reason. You can be trained to follow a process, but understanding complex issues like violence, abuse, harm, and safeguarding requires something deeper. It takes reflection, connection, challenge, and space to think. That’s education. That’s learning.

Our approach is immersive and interactive, even when delivered virtually. We use a blend of evidence-based techniques, including scenario-based learning, reflective practice, and case study exploration. Everything we teach is rooted in real-life experience: combining theory with practical tools, and always asking, “What does this look like in practice?”

Participants are encouraged not just to listen, but to engage. To explore lived experience. To unpick what they know, and what they don’t. And to leave not only with knowledge, but with the confidence to apply it.

We design our sessions to be safe, challenging, and thought-provoking. Whether you’re joining a learning space as a practitioner, manager, or leader, we’ll meet you where you are, and help you build the understanding needed to create safer systems.

Overview of our education packages

You can find a list of all of our programmes in this section which can be delivered to your organisation or team. If you are an individual, please see our open programmes below.

Our education packages can support your team or organisation to strengthen responses to violence, abuse and harm. We have a range of developed packages which include pre and post assessment so we can tailor them to meet your specific needs, as well as provide you with evidence of impact.

However, we support organisations through bespoke packages too. So if you have a specific education or learning need, please get in touch to discuss this and we would be pleased to develop a programme to achieve the outcomes you need.
